News have broken that the homes of Kansas City Chief stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were broken into last month

I do not have $20k in cash. I have some cash that is located in my wallet but that's it (and probably less than $200). My parents have a a large dish of coins - not sure how much money it actually is but my dad will take a pile of it with him if he's paying in cash at the farmer's market or something.

Leaving 20k in cash in an unattended mansion is not a choice I think I would ever be able to make. I am hyper conscious about my wallet when I have 20 dollars in there.

there's this cool thing called a bank and you can even get a money market account and earn INTEREST on the money you put in the bank. if someone robs that bank, the federal government insures up to $250,000 of the money stolen.

I think I normally don’t have more than five bucks lying around I hate cash and using it but also understand why it’s necessary since not everyone gets to have a bank account
