News have broken that the homes of Kansas City Chief stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were broken into last month.
Mahomes' mansion was burglarized around midnight on Oct. 6, and Kelce’s estate was broken into around 7pm on Oct. 7 - shortly after the kick-off of “Monday Night Football,” with Taylor Swift in attendance.
According to a police report, $20,000 cash was taken from Kelce’s home.
Taylor Swift, who had been in town for that night’s Chiefs’ game, stayed at a downtown Kansas City hotel. Swift’s security team are apparently taking the incident very seriously.
The FBI has also joined the investigation into the burglaries.
"It's frustrating," Mahomes said during the Kansas City Chiefs press conference, one day after news of the robberies broke. "It's disappointing. I can't get into too many details because the investigation is still ongoing. It's obviously something you don't want happening to anybody, but especially yourself."
