Maybe I'm too stupid but I didn't get that movie.

I understood how I Saw the TV Glow would be important and powerful to transpeople, but as someone who is cis, it did not strike me as anything other than a visually well-made movie with a lot of millennial nostalgia. And that's fine - not all movies need to be made for all people, but I am happy for people who felt seen by this movie.

Yeah the movie wasn't for me, but I thought it was beautifully shot with a great soundtrack.

Taste. It was really good.

This made me laugh.

Nicole Kidman on directors she wants to work with next:

“I’ve always said I want to work with [Martin] Scorsese, if he does a film with women. I’d love to work with Kathryn Bigelow… Spike Jones… PTA [Paul Thomas Anderson]. I’ve always wanted to work with Michael Haneke.” pic.twitter.com/CqpRpz92yb

I didn't like Gilead, so I never read any of the sequels.

I am SO glad I didn't listen to the reviews and ended up watching the film last month because it ended up as my favourite horror film of the year, and one of my top films of the year too.

It really affected me deeply. Even though I am not trans, what the characters went through and were dealing with really spoke to me on a deeply personal level and I could not stop thinking about it for days. Even now I can't stop thinking of it. It hit a real raw note.

Also the music and style was gorgeous and really added to the whole film.

Will Daniel Day-Lewis stay unretired for this one?

I never believe actors when they say they will retire. If the right script comes along, they will be back.
