November 14, 2024- Martin Scorsese, in an interview with the Associated Press, raved about Jane Schoenbrun's sophomore film 'I Saw the TV Glow' and talked about potentially his last movie, which will be an adaptation of Marilynne Robinson's 'Home' instead of the long-rumored Jesus biopic. Scorsese is working with a very well-known writer on the project...
- "The novel chronicles the life of the Boughton family, specifically the father, Reverend Robert Boughton, and Glory and Jack, two of Robert's adult children who return home to Gilead, Iowa. A companion to Gilead, Home is an independent novel that takes place concurrently and examines some of the same events from a different angle."
- 'Home' is part of a series of novels along with 'Gilead' (the first), 'Lila', and 'Jack'.
Martin Scorsese says his adaptation of Marilynne Robinson’s ‘HOME’ will likely be his next film.
He wrote the script with Todd Field.

November 14, 2024- Martin Scorsese worked on the screenplay for 'Home' with multiple time Oscar-nominee/co-inventor of Big League Chew Todd Field ('In the Bedroom', 'Little Children', 'TAR'), who is also rumored to be working on adapting at least one of the other books in the series (and potentially directing himself).
Source 2 3I am here for Martin Scorsese getting Todd Field the Oscar he has long deserved - and more work. Hopefully this will actually get made and not make it to the Wikipedia article titled (no joke)
'Todd Field's Unrealized Projects'. Who do you hope gets cast? Will Daniel Day-Lewis stay unretired for this one?
