she was given opioids and Riley tried to trust her and she found out from her toxicology report that she had in fact taken only therapeutic amounts. Riley was proud of her mother.

I cannot articulate the way this just hit. Having to even think of it at a time like that, the stress that must've compounded (even though LM turned out to have been on track)... addiction really is a beast of a disease.

Riley was still a half hour away and she tried to cry quietly so as to not disturb the other passengers.

god i just feel so awful for her throughout this whole thing :(((((( i hope she can have a peaceful, uneventful life from here on out.

I know Nicole Richie asked her at one of the panels if the book was closure for her and Riley responded she didn't know what closure was, so I hope she one day finds peace.

I very much appreciate the effort you put into this OP. I’m not sure if you were/are a big fan of Lisa Marie, but the way you put these recaps together is such a cool way to honor her life/book.

I loved it and even though you already recapped the entire book, I will go and buy it. I had no idea this book hit this hard lol

Thank you! I was/am a big fan of her music, have since become a fan of Riley's.
