Silence Of The Lambs.

It’s too theatrical and silly (Lecter’s intelligence is written more like he’s a psychic) for me to work as a horror film. It’s not scary (apart from Buffalo Bill!).

Manhunter is the far superior horror film and Lecter performance.

Yeah it's a good film but I didn't think it was scary so it's always interesting when it gets described as the only horror film to win Best Picture.

Which granted I feel that movie is more Procedural Thriller than straight horror.

Sometimes Supernatural was too much for me so I don't really watch anything scary.

Midsommar.

Florence performance was excellent but I didn't care for the movie overall.

It was a weaker film compared to Hereditary.

A lot of people tried to sell it as a "dark comedy." UM WUT LOL? It is disgusting and weird, and not much else.

I liked it, but I thought the Texas Chainsaw Massacre was gonna be much gorier than anticipated considering what it’s about. Maybe I’m spoiled from all the other gore films I’ve watched but it was fairly tame.

Also, I feel like if they had done some recasting The Happening, it could have been better received.

The original. The remakes go way over the top with the gore factor.

I thought the ring was boring and wasn't scary I think it may because I was exposed to random horror films playing on TV as a kid my older cousins weren't attentive baby sitters. I couldn't stand human centipede or splice though that's just downright disturbing and wrong

I really liked the remake for The Ring much more than the original. Going back to it with my kids and they didn't really care for either. We've been more on a Korean horror kick since its more gore and has that drama for some extra spice.
