Low key Alien. I found it really boring. Once the xenomorph showed up, I was like ok cool, but I probably won't ever watch this again.

High key the original IT tv series. I was like this is what terrified my sister for years?

I find Alien boring too. It’s super frustrating for me that the whole thing could have been avoided if the crew just listened to Ripley!!

The effects from IT have dated very poorly. Tim Curry was the only reason anyone found that scary

Literally had a discussion about the It miniseries with a co-worker just yesterday. He said the remake wasn't as scary as the OG miniseries and I was SHOCKED. He went on to say it was "scary as shit" and I just knew he hadn't seen it since he was a kid because there ain't no way.

I've never seen The Godfather.

But I was just talking about this with my wife because we were watching a doc series with the episode on Stephen King adaptations and I had to confess I've seen almost none of them. I've seen The Shawshank Redemption, Stand By Me, Apt Pupil and It (1990).

So you've seen all the good one but Carrie and the Shining? Good for you.

If I only watched good horror movies, I'd only watch a couple of movies a year.

The Terrifier franchise. I saw the first one and it was alright, it seemed to be excessive just to be excessive. I love horror, but that's just not my thing.

The Blair Witch Project and The Witch (I swear I have nothing against witches in general)

I didn’t watch any horror films growing up, and Blair Witch was one the first horror movies I saw. I was 16 and we watched it in a college media class. It scared the fuck out of me. Slept with a nightlight on for a week afterward.

You're not alone; one of my besties went to see it in the second week it was released knowing very little about it and literally called me in the middle of the night completely freaked out. Fortunately one of those celeb tab shows was on that showed the cast at the opening was on and I was like "turn on channel 7 to this show, they're still alive, see?" even with that it still took him a bit to calm down, lol.

I grew up watching horror movies but somehow never watched Blair Witch. I decided to watch it a few months ago and thought it was very meh.

The Social Network in some ways. When it came out everyone was hyping it up as the best film of the year and it has aged well. But when I first saw it I was like "okay..."

The soundtrack is amazing though.

I had a similar feeling towards Mad Max: Fury Road where I feel like the plot is the weakest part because the action and production is 10000000%!! Which is funny cause all the Mad Max films are pretty simplistic in plot so idk what my issue is lol.

I do like both movies though.

I bought the Social Network based off the hype and when I watched it I was so, so bored.

Same! I do think it should've won BP and Director over The King's Speech at the Oscars though cause at least TSN is actually relevant!

I felt the same about The Social Network and I really don't care to even give it another shot tbh
