Midsommar.

Florence performance was excellent but I didn't care for the movie overall.

A lot of people tried to sell it as a "dark comedy." UM WUT LOL? It is disgusting and weird, and not much else.

I did not like it. It wasn't creepy enough for what it wanted to be and it wasn't funny enough to be dark comedy

I will die with you on this hill. It's just not a horror movie nor is it "scary". Did anyone leave that theater thinking oh god I hope I don't visit some cult in Scandinavia and accidentally get sucked in? No. /rant over, my partner loves the movie and thinks its iconic and I have had to watch it way more times than I would ever choose.

I agree with you but I also think it's because we're seeing the movie through her eyes instead instead of her garbage boyfriend's POV because he definitely got the horror end of it. I was torn by the end whether I was suppose to feel happy for her or horrified for her, which is exactly what the film was going for so good job on that front, lol. That said, the cinematography was gorgeous and I love how much it subverts the typical industry standard for horror/suspense movies.
