The public doesn't need to see pictures of a dead body. We really don't.

Fortunately, I haven’t come across the full body pic yet but it’s horrible to know it will someday end up on Google search like other crime scene and dead body photos. You shouldn’t be able to find these things so easily.

It’s been years since I’ve listened to 1D but I streamed some when I was cleaning today. ‘Long Way Down’ is so eerie now.

i saw the full photo last night and i was not prepared for that at all. it made me feel nauseous and i thought i was going to be sick. i cannot even imagine stumbling upon them if i was his friend or family.

It's digusting how TMZ is so inhumane that they would post a picture of someone's body and forget that's a human being with family and friends and people who love them. I suppose money and being first on who post the news is more important than being respectful and acting like a decent human being.

So gross and violating, not to mention just something that should not be for public consumption.

My sister died in 2007 and even back then there were relatives that found out from Facebook. My brother saw the news footage and even though it was ordinary and not out of bounds of what I would expect a news report to show (footage of the car accident scene) and he was so traumatized by even that.

I teach a class on crime journalism and one of the main things I try to to get across is that journalism is about informing a reader and not serving tragedy to be consumed. Everyone is loved by someone. Death isn't just an individual dying - it's about the people affected, whose lives are forever changed.

I tell them think of the worst day in their lives. And then, imagine someone wrote an article about it.

There's no reason to show a car accident scene. And I am very sorry.
