I saw Apocalyptica yesterday and when they left the stage for a few seconds beofre returning for the finale songs some dudes in the back started to shout "zapierdalać" which is a very nasty word to yell at somebody to get back on stage. When the concert ended and I saw the faces of the three dudes I was like: The looks match the behaviour.

they do this in movie theaters too. while I'm sure this was a ~harmless light, that would terrify me as a performer, especially with the recent increase in terror threats

Oh they're not harmless if they get shone into your eyes, they will cause permanent sight damage. Which, given from that picture it was hitting his forehead, seems like could've been a serious possibility if they'd kept waving it around his face.
