Behavior like this is will cause the eventual cease of concerts. Or, at the very least, performers behind glass on stage.

i'm glad it was just a prank, but what a shitty prank to pull.

i can't imagine spending 100 something just to be an asshole.

This is the other half of why I'm seriously starting to reconsider whether it's even worth going to concerts any more. Besides Scammaster's shenanigans and the sheer cost... people have forgotten how to behave in public.

Before the pandemic, I used to go to all kinds of shows (concerts, theater, comedy, etc). We're talking 1-3 times a week. When venues began reopening in 2021, it was an absolute shitshow so I decided to refrain until things got better. Unfortunately, things have gotten worse. Seeing stories about people loudly singing along at theater performances, being so unruly that the shows have to be stopped to escort people out, and generally being jackasses with no manners makes me not want to go to any kind of live show anymore. I miss going to live shows but I do not want to pay $$$$ to deal with that kind of behavior while I'm trying to enjoy a performance. And that's on top of the ridiculous Ticketmaster/Live Nation fees.

I remember when kids in the 2000s would buy laser pointers and use them as toys to prank people. I think this is just foul, and sadly, it'll be a case of "monkey see, monkey do" with other people doing this at concerts. People suck.
