Crumbl Cookies is a US based business that sells cookies with themed and sometimes outlandish flavors. They are incredibly popular, so of course there was a group that tried to bring that popularity to the Land Down Unda'. See the OG's origin story below

I've never had one and I think I'd like to try them. That expense is insane, though. Cookies are one of the most approachable baked items to make.

They're extremely mid.

Not terrible but not especially good and DEF not worth the price.

I tried them last month for the first time and they were OK. Very sugary which is probably why people like it but not something I could or would want to eat all the time

There are days when I'm downtown and it seems like 50% of people are carrying a Crumbl box.

When you hear a lot about something you don't have access to there's a lot of curiosity around trying it and some cache with having it. I used to live in Hawaii and people would try Olive Garden on vacations and come back raving about it, and when a Cheesecake Factory opened in Waikiki it became somewhat cool to have your leftovers in the Cheesecake Factory bag in the fridge at work. People would literally have fundraisers for school or whatever where they'd fly to Maui, get Krispy Kremes at the only store in the state, then fly back and resell them.

You bring up a good point. When Primark first opened here in Chicago it was SWAMPED, and this was in the middle of the pandemic; I actually left because even with a mask I felt uncomfortable with the amount of people inside.
