They did a good job to include enough important scenes from the game for those in the know (the "Future Days" inclusion 😭) but also to make it vague enough as to not spoil newcomers. I watched the teaser next to my parents (who didn't play the game and have no idea what happens in season 2) and I was trying to hold it together lmfao.
Except it's not. The bulk of that article is the author's personal hypothesis. Druckmann has made a few comparisons to Israel but the idea that the Seraphite/WLF conflict is based off Israel and Palestine is the author trying to push a narrative. No one involved with the game has indicated otherwise

I really wonder how my parents will react to it haha. They both loved season 1 and my mom really does not do well with deaths sooo... idk how she will fare during season 2 😬
Hoping the show is less graphic because I’m a baby lol. I do wonder if they’re gonna stick to the same POV order as the game, or maybe shift the order of things a bit.

Too traumatic and dark even for me. Maybe I'll wait for all the eps to be released and binge it in the right headspace.

Tbh, Abby, Lev, and Yara’s arcs are the best part of the game to me and the dust this article pays them is suspect as to its intentions.
I agree with this so much.
