I think she could definitely use some PR training. Like... idk.

I think she could easily have said something like "While I will personally be voting for Kamala, I don't feel comfortable officially endorsing anyone because I am not a source of authority on politics" or something like that.

I agree. I feel like the youths feel too much of an obligation to be perfect activists from social media when most of them aren’t built for it (they came to celebs not activists) so even the most well-meaning ones will get overwhelmed by it all.

She’d be better off showing support for things like her collecting funds for Palestine instead of making muddy comments like in the RS interview.

I’m honestly so drained by Pippi Longstocking’s take. Like, girl, there was absolutely no nuance in what you said. It was the same clichéd argument white people make when they’re trying to come off as “unique” or contrarian. She gave the typical spiel you hear from people who rant about the government without offering any real insight. Sure, you can do all the research, ask a million questions, and claim both sides are equally bad, but at the end of the day, you’re going to be governed whether you like it or not.

Kamala isn’t perfect, and I have my issues with her politics but Trump is a racist-these things aren’t on the same level. If, even now, you're treating both sides as if they're equally flawed or problematic, then honestly, I’m out of energy to engage. I’ve got nothing left but dust for people like her.

I still think she means well, and voting small IS still very important
But her wording was bad and will be misinterprated.

I didn't think there was anything wrong with what she said originally. This "clarification" is rambly and unnecessary, but i do find the way she uses her hands when she speaks very endearing.
