leo's a good actor, maybe not as great as the people he's mentioned with but definitely one of the most notable of his generation. it's not like with someone like brad pitt where everyone is just pretending he's good bc he used to be handsome.

the problem with leo is that no matter how much he immerses himself, how much he tries to hide in a role, you're still looking at leo. i think his fame is part of it but also he's just got such a distinct look that he can never go full chameleon if he tried

definitely some but not all. i think if tom cruise really tries he can do it incredibly well (like tropic thunder), same with will smith.

it's just something with leo where you'll always see leo. it's the same problem jen aniston has but that's more about the fact that she's styled herself on and of screen the same way for decades
