Not only do we report on the platform's updates in order to curate a safe space to complain about it, but ontd relies heavily on twitter/x for news because everywhere else has banned ontd

Plus, so many comments drag the negativity from there to here, so those of us who don't even use Twitter are still subject to its crap

I'm still on Twitter as an observer. I haven't actually tweeted anything in forever. My main reason I'm still there after the EM takeover is that I was there first, so fuck him.

I do hate how racist, misogynistic, transphobic comments are no longer moderated, the bots who steal other people's tweets in the replies and the fact that sometimes it just doesn't work right (you click on a tweet that says 50 replies and only like 8 show up), but I'll be there until it is completely unusable cause I was there first, so fuck him.
