Jean Smart dragging the constant changes to HBO streaming had me screaming. I love how 180 different she is from her most famous character, Charlene from Designing Women. Makes me appreciate her so much as an actress.

Yeah, we were talking about it last night - she really has to act her ass off as Deborah! Her character is so goddamn complex, and often very unlikeable, but she makes you feel for her despite her many flaws, and that's not an easy feat. I love Ayo in The Bear, and would have been happy if she won, but I don't think she has to flex nearly as hard to make Sydney work as a character.

I sometimes forget how varied Jean Smart's career is, like Designing Women and 24 and her amazing guest stint on Frasier and now Hacks. And every character is totally different from the other.

Probably one of my favorite scenes ever. And supposedly 99% of this was all improv?? Love that you see at least two people trying not to break 😂😂

Shogun and Hacks wins make me so fucking happy. Season 3 of Hacks was such a return to form (I hated season 2, oops) and every single win tonight was deserved.

I hope people give Monarch: Legacy of Monsters a try for Anna Sawai. It's not great but it's fun and she's hot and gay in it, so.
