Yes! I didn't love the first ep, honestly, but it gets good really fast after that, and I loved it by the end.

The Shogun win acceptance speeches were so good. LOL I cried for each of the wins.

I am a sentimental mushbag, but I loved seeing Anna cry when Hiroyuki Sanada was announced. When the whole cast was on stage for winning drama series, the camera quickly cut to someone in the audience who was crying too.

Yes! There was a relative or partner in a kimono who was sobbing and I immediately was crying a bit more too. There were a few actresses who seemed really touched when they won.

Happy for Lamorne, Liza (though not The Bear overall), and my queen JEAN!!

I haven't watched Shogun due to the violence but I hear it was great....with that said I'm praying my man Goggins gets his due eventually (even though I watched most of Fallout through my fingers, again due to the violence). He's been deserving since The Shield and the fact he never won for Boyd Crowder....madness imo.

He deserves it for Uncle Baby Billy. Maybe he'll get a nod for The White Lotus.

it's been a scandal since it's first season nominations, honestly i think it's hurt the reputation of the show.

i agree about it tarnishing the rep of the show. when people talk about it nowadays it's never about how good it is, it's always the discourse of 'how the fuck is this dramatic ass shit considered a comedy???'
