I mean, I guess. The only thing is that people are vicious about tearing apart women for the tiniest thing and clothing/make up can be armor against that. Plenty of regular every day women are bullied out of having any esteem just living their lives. Actresses are constantly being scrutinized.

I was going to say something like -"well, technically being brave is doing anything that scares you. So how do you know, if it is brave, Kate?"

I also think that Kate has been called "brave" since her early 20s for daring to be a leading lady while not EXTREMELY skinny. So, she personally has a more cynical view of these sorts of compliments.
