i feel bad for the people attached to the film, but men face consequences so rarely that i can't be mad either. even if he has no involvement he'd still make money off it. hope those ppl find other projects soon.

While I feel bad for the other people working on this - good. Give this bastard NOTHING.

EDIT: was dead boy detectives cancelled bc of this too? I only just remembered it was Neil's work

Netflix cancels all shows that cost a bit of money to produce and aren't runaway smash successes like Stranger Things.

I feel like most of their fantasy shows geared towards teens get canned after a season or two. Terrible track record.

I think the other commenter is right BUT also wouldn’t be surprised if Gaiman factored in. He wasn’t really involved in making it… but his name is associated with the IP. Maybe they used it as an excuse. Wouldn’t be surprised if SANDMAN is canned after S2 for the same “reason”.

I read the book and I'm not thrilled about the idea of it being adapted. It was a mess, but had interesting bones. Was it going to be animated? I feel like that's the only way it would've been good.

I wish Gaiman would actually be upset about this, but I've watched interviews around Good Omens and my impression is that adaptations of his get sidelined so often that it's more of a shrug.

Adaptations get sidelined, sure, but this is the first time one is getting sidelined because he’s alleged to have sexually assaulted multiple women. I hope he feels horrible.
