Oh wow, the article says she didn't have much of a relationship with her siblings and her relationship with her mom was complicated as well. She's prolly going through a bunch of confusing emotions.

Yeah, I just finished her memoir earlier this month and it was heartbreaking to read how her sister treated her and how they both had tumultuous relationships with their mother. She has always been so gracious towards them despite their hardships and I really feel for her having to deal with two losses at once.

My uncle passed away last summer. While he had been on and off sick for awhile, it was still unexpected. My cousin, his son, died a month and a half later.

I know her family dynamics, especially with her siblings, were fraught. Hope she’s surrounded by love.

I think it was her mom and brother. The sister was a drug addict and wasn’t really around. They were estranged.
