Surely it'll be rejected since that man did not come up with that

It could be with it being so public, but it's actually really infuriating the things that get trademarked and it's often not by the people who coined it.

Definitely a dick move on the part of the guy who snuck in and trademarked. However, the fact that the one in a million chance of being able to monetize a funny sentence she said online is apparently going to make or break her and her family's livelihood makes me fucking despair.

We live in a society and all that.

I'm sure, at least going by the replies to that tweet, she can start a GoFundMe or whatever?

But I don't know much about this whole situation.

This post is the first time I have seen or heard about Jools. Only one other post here that I read, referenced the "demure" and whatever stuff.

I don't pay attention to Twitter or TikTok.

I know that when my sister is aware of a meme it's on its way out--she texted me at like 2 am, "Why the fuck is everyone saying demure online?!" I am guessing one of the mommy instagrammers that sells courses posted something.

I don’t even bother to look into them anymore because most of them are not for me. I’m aging out of that demographic and I’m perfectly fine with that.

Yeah, I still don’t know what the original context of any of this meme is and I don’t care to find out
