What is Sam Reid’s actual accent in the show, because French it ain’t lol. I think he’s a great Lestat and the most captivating actor in the show, but that accent is hilarious. You could excuse it by saying he’s old and has travelled, but isn’t it meant to sound French?
I wonder if he's doing the same thing as Jacob, where the French (New Orleans, in Jacob's case) was stronger in the 1910s-1940 scenes, but eases off in the later periods because of the distance/time past?

On Friday Night Lights, people used to talk about how Coach Taylor's hair showed his emotional state so I was simultaneously laughing/applauding the hair people for having sad emo Lestat's hair look so bad. Like he's so bummed out that he can't even be bothered to use conditioner.
Jacob said he hoped people still liked Louis by the end of the season and I have no idea what the fuck he was talking about because I love Louis more than ever.
the only thing I can think is that it showed Louis being extremely naive about Armand, and rejecting Claudia's claims about him threatening her, and being tired/exhausted with Claudia (despite still loving her, of course)
and since people sometimes have this extreme view of "a character can't ever do things that are bad/shitty" maybe he thought people would hate Louis
the finale was such a WHIRLWIND (in a good way!!!) I honestly don't think I have the words to describe my feelings about it. The Lestat/Louis reunion scene was so emotional though
but "I am companion enough for myself" and "I own the night"??? Louis is BACK baby and choosing haself!! :')))
