okay to go with the negative first i think they could have used 30 more minutes just to slow everything down. there was never a part of this season where i was like “oh they were definitely affected by the writer’s strike” EXCEPT for the finale. but even then despite that i loved what we got. sorry to the loumand shippers or whatever because the show clearly blew that entire ship up lol but…. *shrugs

WHEN LESTAT SAID ‘SIRI PAUSE’ I ALMOST DIED OF LAUGHTER.
OMG I was cracking up at that too! He was so serious about the music and needing 50 years of practice and being Sad Emo Lestat holding his moldy keyboard and then "Siri, pause."
I don't remember how many of the books I read in this series (definitely not all of them) but the ones I did read were sooooooo long ago that I honestly don't remember much beyond the first book (the only thing I really remember from the second book was rock star Lestat and the band running away from crowds) so just about everything from now on will be a surprise to me, which I don't mind. The only down side is that now I won't know how much of the show deviates from the source material. Usually I prefer adaptations to stay true to the original, but I have liked most of the changes the show has made so far so I trust them to keep doing a great job in future seasons.
