I hated the Christmas episode in season 2 and stopped watching then.

I hated that episode too! I still finished the season but god that episode was traumatic

The next one was my favorite of the season, so I'd at least watch Forks.

I hated it too. not only was it just sensory overload (which I know the show generally can be, but it was in a really bad way) but all the cameos were corny to me and took me out of it

i mean it has a score of 93% on RT so i'd say reviews are generally still quite strong, but has received some bad reviews lol

that said i stopped watching after 2 episodes of s1 bc it stressed me out too much so <3

The general tenor of the reviews I read have been it's still a good show but not as good as previous seasons. I haven't finished yet but it seems like the show has gone for a more atmospheric feel this season and that won't land for everyone.
