I’m anything but rich and surprise surprise I’m able to be entirely plant based. It’s just a matter of saying my taste buds aren’t as important as climate change and animals’ lives.
I was gonna say, buying vegetables and fruits is soooo much cheaper than buying meat (at least where I live). The prices for chicken and seafood actually make me stay away from buying it.
i havent eaten meat since high school, but i think i accidentally had some while at the hospital bc i had forgot to tell them i don't eat meat because i always forget some people do lol. To me it's such a weird idea.
and i used to be fully vegan but now i'm more like a home vegan, meaning i can have dairy while out and about but i prefer to shop only vegan products to have at home.
I wonder if pregnancy and nursing her kid influence her choice of including chicken in her diet.
I'm also thinking like a normal person who doesn't have access to more expensive meat-alternative and dairy alternatives heavy protein food. I don't love beans and tofu doesn't give as much protein as some other food. My body burns a lot of calories. I can't eat a lot in 1 sitting so 1/3 of my food always have to consist of chicken/pork/egg.
I tried and was vegetarian for about a year, more for religious reason. I'm too busy now atm to have more time than throwing some chicken in a skillet or air fryer.
I can never completely give up egg because of my high metabolism in the past, present and in the future. I can say I rarely consume red meat since I learned years ago that the cattle industry contribute to high amount of methane gas.
I'm also gluten intolerant so it's extra hard to find processed heavy protein food that don't have wheat in it. It's harder to avoid wheat than avoid meat 😬

I was wondering that too. If I recall, Michael J. Fox's wife went off her vegetarian (or was it vegan?) diet when she was pregnant with their twin girls. She just started craving meat one day & then made up for lost time by eating as much as she could.
3 months at the beginning of the period that I was vegan, my body was feeling weak, lethargic and I was ALWAYS feeling hungry no matter what I ate. One day, I realized it was because I was lacking in protein, I ate so much eggs to compensate. The hunger feeling finally stopped after 1 week of eating 3-4 egg with every meal.
Eating meat just makes me feel sick. I think too much about the animal. Now, if I could just quit dairy. v_v
Cheese sort of grosses me out but I can still mentally get past that feeling. My skin haaaaaaates it though. Gives me acne for sure. And I had to get off the BC pill because of blood clots so now I really should cut it all out of my diet. ugh

I eat vegan at home, and then if I eat someplace where they dont have a vegan option, it's okay.
