But OP is busy peddling the idea the woman he abused is after money. A new low even for you OP using his twitter fan as a source and a german tabloid.

The English speaking press has been reporting this poorly acting like what he paid was to settle, but the amount he's had to pay is court costs for taking the case to trial.

It wasn't dropped, they settled it. They both went into this hearing to resolve this case peacefully for the sake of their daughter. They settled it and he has to pay her money.

The money mentioned is court fees and part paid to a charity run by the Berlin court.
Hi Andre, we don't know any details of the agreement, though you might find this helpful:https://t.co/7WS28N1RWf

The German court had enough evidence to charge him and give him a penalty last year. He!!! appealed this penalty to prove his innocence - only reason it went to trial. Then:
- wants to publicly prove innocence in appeal
-files order to keep testimony on lock behind closed doors
-begs public prosecutors to drop the trial, plaintiff agrees
-settles and pays 6 figures to state and charity
Screams innocent

The court issued a court order of 450,000 euros because they thought there was enough evidence to avoid trial.
Zverev rejected the order, wanting instead to go to trial, in doing so he was considered innocent until the trial. In making this decision, he was liable for the court fees (150,000 which he's been charged)
Zverev filed to keep Patea's testimony closed (not the trial) and Patea's lawyers said they would not reject it
After testifying for a brief period, Patea went home sick and did not return to court but her lawyers withdrew the accusation
The Berlin prosecutors, who were co-defendents in the case, without Patea's accusation of assault, asked Zverev's team to discontinue the case.
Zverev's team claim to have agreed due to the welfare of his child

The case was never an appeal, Jonathan Crane literally tweeted whoever lost this case was eligible to appeal as it is a first instance case.

Please read this article by an accredited journalist who has been following this trial as a source and not the bs OP who has admitted to finding talented and attractive is trying to peddle.

I do think Zverev is talented and attractive, but talented and attractive people also abuse women. Acting like he's ugly and talentless just perpetuates the myth that attractive and talented people don't abuse women.

I think both sets of allegations against Zverev were credible, personally, he is someone who has shown to have a temper. However, I followed the cases so when people lie about what happened, I think it should be corrected.
