I'm so late on Challengers but I watched it yesterday in a theater with 3 other people and based on our audible reactions throughout I'm sad I didn't see this on a packed night. What a fun watch, and no surprise when the credits highlighted the trent/ross music work, the score was easily my favorite part of the movie. why are tennis movies always so fun???

What I saw this week doriiansz June 2 2024, 16:23:07 UTC
The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare - I mean... I'm all for killing Nazis, so this was very entertaining. I don't know who told Hero Fiennes Tiffin to tone it tf down, but thank you. I was preparing myself for the worst from all the After stuff I've seen through Kennie J.D. NOT MAH TESSAH!!! Also my bb Alan Ritchson is in it!

Horror in the High Desert - Solid flick. I still don't know how I feel about those last minutes though.

The First Omen - Great movie. I know Flanagan was just hired, but I would loved to see what Arkasha Stevenson could do with the Exorcist franchise.

Lowlifes - Took me by surprise tbh. TUBI lowkey released a horror classic.

The Gentlemen - Nice. I thought about turning it off after like a 15 minutes in, because there was so much talking and they kept introducing all these characters and I wasn't feeling it. But once you get into that rhythm, it becomes a highly entertaining journey. Cool cast. And a huge plus seeing my bb Colin Farrell in all those fabulous tracksuits 🥰

furiosa was really good! my only issue was tom burke seemed like michael buble just ended up in the wasteland. his casting felt a little off. otherwise i def recommend seeing it in theatres!

I saw the limited release of Richard Linklater's Hit Man (soon to be everywhere on Netflix), and it rocked. Not quite his best film, but definitely the best mainstream entertainment he's ever made.

I wish they’d put it in theaters for longer before it goes to streaming
