Hutchins' mother, Olga Solovey, said in a translated video that no one involved in her daughter's death ever reached out to express sympathy

That is disgustingly sad 🥺🤬

That's appalling. Like, the absolute bare minimum ought to have been flowers and a sympathy card. Minimum.

Yeah I put that in because I was genuinely stunned that no one reached out to her.

It’s really horrible but I’d bet money that they were all instructed by their lawyers to not reach out and have any interactions with the family. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were self-centered enough that they wouldn’t have cared to do it anyway.

it's kind of wild that the parents of that school shooter got 10-15 years and she only gets 18 months

I guess it's because hers wasn't premeditated and the intention that day was not malicious. Hers is more severe negligence.

It’s less that they didn’t catch the signs and more that the actively and consciously chose to ignore them AND provide him with something that can murder people

The shit she said in the recorded phone calls is wiiiiild. You're boohooing about your modeling career? A woman is dead. How can you even fix your mouth to ask your legal team to contact Halyna Hutchins' husband and son to speak on your behalf?

ETA: Here's the LINK to the filing with the summaries of the jail calls for anyone who wants to see how remorseless she is.

i just don't understand why you would load a gun for a movie, and then hand it over willy-nilly without warning?

She didn't hand it over. The AD just grabbed it off the cart and he handed it off willy nilly.

She shouldn't have left it unattended of course, but I refuse to let people forget the AD was the one who took the gun and passed it off without checking.

Yes, from what I've read, multiple people failed on this set and should have been charged.

She wasn't even there, the AD, who shouldn't have touched the gun, gave it to Baldwin, who was aware that the AD hadn't checked the ammo in front of him, why is how it's supposed to be done. Multiple safety procedures were ignored and Baldwin should also be convicted.

Baldwin's going to have no excuse because he worked on a Mission Impossible movie where he fired guns, and you know they did everything by the book on that set. He can't claim ignorance. He also fired the gun on Rust, it didn't misfire.
