I saw that it already leaked so I'm waiting for a better quality version to drop.

Well congratulations I guess but I cannot think of a movie plot line I want to see less, even if it's done well

Yeah like maybe the trailer was misleading, but I don't really want to sit through two hours of the Civil War Trump worshippers want.

that's.... exactly what the trailer made me think of with shudders of disgust... that the MAGA rioters would use this as an incentive

I don't think this is the war they want. The film sort of establishes that early and there's more a sense of disorientation and chaos.

I really liked it but I was a little distracted wondering who from Devs would appear next. Devs was such a great gowns beautiful gowns miniseries.

I loved Devs because I loved the quantum computing aspect of it, even though fantastical and existential, it was made well and like all sci fi shows it plays on science because quantum physics is all about propabilities which of course they ignore the propagation of error but that is what makes it sci fi. But seeing Sonoya Mizuno in an Alex Garland thing is kind of normal now (after Annihilation, Ex Machina).

Sonoya is the ultimate regular she's been in everything he's directed.

Devs had potential, but I ended up hating it so much….Nick Offerman’s character, his damned janitor turned assassin/James Bond. And they teased us with some truly fascinating ideas, only to reduce it to the most cliche plot in the end.
And I’m sorry, but Sonoya cannot act. I thought for one brief moment she would be revealed to be an android or something.

I saw it today and I enjoyed it. Kind of short.

Good for them - honestly thought it was gonna flop!

We're going Monday. I was a little on the fence, but a trusted film friend saw it today & said it was great and that if we go, we should try for Dolby because the sound design is fantastic.

Yes the film is quiet, then all of a sudden it isn't. And wow.
