sam levinson sucks but all these delays for season 3 can't be fully placed on him! anyway, this seems inevitable and i think people are not aware enough of how much the loss of kevin turen (and his seemingly fractured relationship with sam before his death) has on the show. he was absolutely the one keeping things on the track so to speak.

anyway, need zendaya to announce a new role by like late may or i'm gonna have to hand in my stan card for her because, grace given to her for being picky as hell because she can't afford to flop, she hasn't announced shit since 2021 and now there's no excuse and i refuse to sit through a summer of her watching tom do a play.

this is very mindhunter though because how are you gonna give THIS cast the opportunity to book new stuff like good luck ever getting them all back together.

With creator Sam Levinson still working on scripts for the upcoming third season of HBO‘s Euphoria, filming plans have been temporarily put on hold, with the cast given permission to take other acting jobs in the interim.

Oh that's interesting. I was at a studio in January and they said they had already starting filming. I remember thinking, "oh that's interesting, I hadn't heard about that on ONTD yet" because this is obviously where I get all my up to date info.

It was probably a pre-meeting that people mistook as filming.

I don't watch this show so I'm genuinely asking: Does anyone actually want a 3rd season? Every comment I've seen online is saying just cancel it and move on.

yes, people want a third season. social media is not a fully accurate reflection of the real world, this show in particular was hbo's biggest since game of thrones. and it got them critical acclaim, and it got them awards. that's why they're trying so hard not to let it go.

i think it's all still relative like it obviously wasn't pulling GOT numbers but HBO needed a hit and this was a hit for them. it's crazy because the first season of euphoria was not super watched but in between the first and second, people found it and it blew up and that second season did extremely well for them

it shouldn't be this hard to make a tv show, Sam Levinson is overthinking this shit and HBO is fucking indulging him and i'm sorry he's just not a good enough filmmaker for that to be okay.
