What is time 🥴 I was so grateful for ONTD during that time. Roundups and FFAs helped me get through.
Not that I’m not grateful for you all now 😅 But I did hit my ONTD limit in the Oscars post and might take a break haha

ONTD had a bit of a resurgence during that time

this feels so long ago

it was my introduction to permanently working from home, and it made me realize I never want to be in an office again

Time since 2016 (the year we went off the correct timeline) has been super weird.

I’m the opposite. My first month of full time wfh made me realise that I will never ever take a remote office job.

if anything, I am grateful for WFH being normalized

I wish there weren't so many managers trying to revert back to pre-pandemic office culture. especially when they try to claim that they embrace the hybrid model. make up your mind

I miss you lockdown. And I really miss social distancing.

I really miss people wearing masks. The amount of times I've seen people sneezing into things and then putting it back on shelves. I was grossed out before the Rona, but now it's worse. No one coughs or sneezes into their elbow!

Yeah I thought the gym was gross before COVID (I actually have an email where I asked the manager for more hand sanitizer because of flu season a couple months before shutdown) and I can't go back now.

Also, I'm in a gymsnark subreddit and the amount of people who workout in basically nothing with their privates rubbing up against the equipment...yikes. All for their TikTok videos, and possibly OF because of course someone out there thinks that's sexy.

God feels like both yesterday and a life time ago.

I was in DC with my family for spring break, we’d just survived a massive tornado & knew my kid would be out of school for the rest of the year because of it…morale was LOW. I was sick as a dog (it was a flare up from the chronic illness I didn’t know I had) and mostly stayed in our rental, thinking I definitely had it while trying not to freak the kids out more than they had been.

I remember listening to NPR (who had cancelled our tour weeks before the trip🫠) and hearing about Tom Hanks and being like “oh no we should have stayed home😭”. We flew back the day after everything shut down…it was kinda wild to be in DC and see how quickly things shut down. The start of our week and the end of our week were VERY different vibes.
