I'd guess it actually won't happen, if it does happen, until next year.

It does make me wonder if that might be part of the reason why the Bold and the Beautiful only got a year option instead of a multi-year pick up like Y&R, though.

The way I read it is that it's never gonna happen tbh.

It sadly wouldn't surprise me if the show never actually got produced.

Still, that it's gotten to the point that it has is a pleasant surprise.

Bring back the primetime dramas tbh.

Im on S9 of Dynasty. That should've been revived and put on CBS or Paramount instead of rebooting on CW.

I would love to see Joan's Alexis scheming in her 90s.

I'll check it out! I'm one of the few people left who enjoy soaps lol

At this point, I definitely can't say that I enjoy GH. I enjoy parts of GH! And I'm hopeful that I'll enjoy it more once the head writers get their stuff going. But this last month has been rough.

I’ll be tuning in, especially if they can get Victoria Rowell or Debbie Morgan on board. Y&R hasn’t been the same since Dru left. I hope this does well, having just 4 soaps is bleak.

3, really. Even though Days exists, it doesn't exist on broadcast...

Oh yeah, it’s only on peacock in the US. It’s still broadcast on the women’s network channel in Canada.

Is that how you watch it? I'm curious, because, to my understanding, the Peacock move has allowed them to make longer episodes and do some stuff that they couldn't do in broadcast. So I'm wondering how easily those "Peacock upgrades" transfer down to traditional broadcast.

I don't think it will be. Passions was firmly a James E. Reilly production. And that man had an imagination. If that was a good thing or a bad thing is up for debate.

Hmm, I don't remember seeing such a claim, but I also wouldn't have really registered if I did.
