I’ll be tuning in, especially if they can get Victoria Rowell or Debbie Morgan on board. Y&R hasn’t been the same since Dru left. I hope this does well, having just 4 soaps is bleak.

3, really. Even though Days exists, it doesn't exist on broadcast...

Oh yeah, it’s only on peacock in the US. It’s still broadcast on the women’s network channel in Canada.

Is that how you watch it? I'm curious, because, to my understanding, the Peacock move has allowed them to make longer episodes and do some stuff that they couldn't do in broadcast. So I'm wondering how easily those "Peacock upgrades" transfer down to traditional broadcast.

Yeah! It’s still on from 1-2 but I’ve noticed the commercials are shorter since they’ve moved. It use to air on the same network Y&R airs on here but only last like a month or two after they switched to Peacock in the states.

Maybe they needed to move networks to accommodate the new amount of showtime to commercial time in any given episode.

That’s probably it, sometimes they’ll show l15-30 second clips of older episodes as promo with cast members that aren’t even on the show anymore for an ad break. The first time that happened it caught me off guard and I thought Sami was coming back lol
