The shots of Prior and Rose out in the ice were beautiful

i like how this ended! its too bad it was only 6 episodes, it could've been better with more time - like we never talked about all the creepy stuff in the trailer again.

one thing that annoyed me last episode is that only the white man could tell Qavvik ans Navarro about the symbol and ice caves? i feel like the native women wouldve had an interesting story/lore about them too and it wouldve been cool to hear that version. especially since they drew it on that guy's forehead.

It needed to be someone else that linked the symbol to the caves because the native women were intentionally hiding their knowledge of it during the investigation. It could have been a native man who explained the symbol, ig, but it wouldn't make sense for one of the women to give the police such a useful lead.

That said, if the symbol/caves/lore had come up more in the denouement I wouldn't have complained.

oh i get why the women weren't sharing that info when interrogated, but considering Qavvik was the one looking for that info, i thought he could get it from an Inupiat person. which also brings up the question, if he always lived in Ennit, wouldn't he have seen or heard about the symbol and caves already?
i liked the show, but little things like that could've been flushed out better.

It was fun and occasionally spooky. I wouldn’t nominate it for anything but I was very entertained.

They jam-packed SO much into this episode, whew! Glad the story is wrapped up, but I wish they'd split this up into 2-3 more episodes.

Did we ever find out [Spoiler (click to open)]who cut out Annie's tongue? Is it assumed that Hank did it (because he moved Annie's body)? Or was it Raymond? Or was that another mystery left up to the supernatural part of the show? I feel like there was a key theme/pattern throughout the show of people lying in their stories and omitting information-so it makes me wanna re-watch and see if there was a clue I missed for that lol.

Overall, I really enjoyed this season! I'm gonna miss the rag-tag team of Danvers / Navarro / BB Prior.

I think it was the aunties? Perhaps they took it and hold onto it as a part of their plan to get revenge on the mine but then left it at the station to link both cases

idk they seemed pretty earnest to me in looking confused and negating that they had any part in the tongue. Also that just sounds so gruesome to do to her so i hope it wasn't them.

It's stated pretty explicitly that Hank cut it out as part of his warning off of people from the mine, but the implication is that it ~came back for supernatural reasons to get Navarro & Liz onto the case
