I went to drama school and this is exactly the shit they told me.

At the time I was "Whatever" about it but now looking back I'm like "WTF were they thinking?"

so many theatre teachers are nasty.

i had one in high school that once had us write out who we would cast in a show then made a comment about how funny some of our casting decisions were.

i realized later i was one of the "funny" choices because she clearly told some of the seniors who cast themselves as what because my friend made a point to tell me that she cast me as a role i was gunning for, something i was too embarrassed to tell anyone.

then i had a nasty one in college i had to go to therapy over. he killed my interest in theatre.

Yeah even in film school. Paul Thomas Anderson dropped out after one day cause the professor said “if you’re here to write films like terminator 2, just leave.” He didn’t like that attitude.
