Been working as an auto claims adjuster for two years and I'm TIRED.

I'm surprised by Dolly Parton not having done it

I also work in insurance (on the client side) and auto rate are expected to be crazy. My broker said to be prepared for MASSIVE increases on my umbrella mainly due to auto driven factors

That makes sense. Seeing premium increase letters go out after accidents...whew. People are losing their minds.

reminds me of that pete & pete episode where big pete takes shop and little pete tries selling body part insurance to his classmates 😭

his little chart promised, like, a boombox for losing a thumb and a 10-speed bike for a hand lmfao

Mary Hart (host of Entertainment Tonight) famously had her legs insured.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Hart

Hart is known for her shapely legs, leading to an endorsement contract with Hanes for that company's line of pantyhose in 1987. Jay Bernstein had her legs insured with Lloyd's of London for $1 million each.[10][11] Executive Producer Linda Bell Blue described Hart as "the face of ET". On March 29, 1987 she participated in the World Wrestling Federation's WrestleMania III, serving as the guest timekeeper in the main event between Hulk Hogan and André the Giant.[12

Thanks for this! There Lloyd's are again huh. There's definitely many more insured body parts but they've not yet reached listicle status. Give it a few months, maybe Page Six will finally do some damn reading!
