The L'egg sponsored one makes me laugh as a child of the 80s. The jingle is currently playing in my head. Everyone had last two or three pairs. Can still see the packaging in my head.

The look into Lloyd's is fascinating because as you pointed out, they were quite famous for insurance until the 70s. (Name kept popping up when I was curious about celebrities.) I wonder how many government people hide any other bad behaviors since Lloyd's was so prestigious.
