Jennifer Aniston on shooting the sex scene with Jon Hamm for #TheMorningShow: "They asked us if we wanted an intimacy coordinator. I’m from the olden days, so I was like, 'What does that mean?' They said, 'Where someone asks you if you’re OK,' and I’m like, 'Please, this is… pic.twitter.com/trc5Rk8Q70

the way she's like "we're seasoned!" as if not wanting an intimacy coordinator is a flex...

anyway the newest season of The Morning Show was pretty bad, sadly

Yeah, that's gross of her to imply. If she doesn't feel like she needs one and feels comfortable with everything, that's great! But not everyone is in that situation and they should absolutely have access to an intimacy coordinator without judgment or shame.

yeah I think the message should be that it's great she had the option to do what was comfortable, not that like, she's too professional to need it

Where did she say or imply otherwise? She’s talking about her experience and her experience alone.

This has a lost a lot of meaning lately, but she sounds like a "pick me girl"

I can have some grace for the fact that she's from that era and is sheltered/bubbled enough to never try to unlearn it. But on some level she has to know she's eyerolling anyone/everyone who does feel like they need a third party to keep them safe from directors/co-stars who, historically, have taken advantage of young and powerless women.

she’s always read as so aggressively boring to me - someone elevated to celeb status solely due to her non-threatening to middle america vibes - that i never realized this wannabe Cool Girl shit was always her thing lol

looking back at her old media coverage, she was always pushing for that angle, in a way that was tryhard but seemed ultimately harmless then (she’s cool, she’s relaxed, she’s on the beach with the dudes getting more tan and smoking weed~)

but her lil pivot to complaining about cancel culture, insinuating intimacy coordinators are for the weak, the palling back up with brad… lol woof

I've never understood her appeal. Lisa Kudrow seems a lot more fun to me (I've just seen her guest on things).

I started binging Friends. I wanted to see if it held up since I haven’t watched a proper episode since I was like 12 lol.

The show is alright, I see why it was popular. There is something nostalgic about it (just the 90’s vibe of it all I guess), that is comforting. I appreciate that it speaks to unique issues about friendships, which is an undervalued relationship in our society (the episode where half of them mention not having a lot of disposable income and how that impacts how they hang was so real).

But oh god, all the characters get more and more annoying over time, espeically Ross. He is so fucking awful when he gets with Rachel, so
Immature. All the gay panic shit is also very annoying lol
