I mean, I do think that if you're working with people you know well and trust, including a director, and are a star able to set boundaries easily, an intimacy coordinator probably isn't as critical as it is for younger actors (especially women). But also...LMFAO at this quote

What bugs me is this attitude makes it seem like people who do want intimacy coordinators are somehow less capable or “seasoned” or wanting special treatment.

Exactly! I hear that attitude a lot from big actors and I find it so stupid. Like, actors who do their own stunts don't usually bad mouth less experienced people for wanting stunt coordinators? it's the same thing...

This is a side note, but I think people truly don't know how undereducated/dense the average celebrity is. Doesn't excuse her ignorance, but it's astounding what a little media training can do to polish someone up.

Yeah......exactly. She's working with 1) A female director, 2) A female director she trusts, 3) an actor she's known for a while and trusts, and 4) the whole thing was "also very choreographed".
