The blue filter is so iconic I actually bought my sister one of those little twilight blue filter keychains as a small part of her Christmas gift. I almost bought my little brother one as well but we open gifts youngest to oldest so it would spoil the surprise.

yeah iirc catherine wanted to cast several members of the cullen family as poc (e.g. alice as asian? idr) but meyer wasn't having it. the most she would acquiesce to was casting one of the villains as poc. racist mormon, that tracks.
