I was surprised at first because my showing was nearly empty for reserved seats, but I looked at later times and they were busier.
I don't need a movie to be Good as long as it can be entertaining. I hope Marvel can at least still achieve that.

I dunno, they were all kind of tied together by lore. But I think it's more of a problem of the MCU being too bloated in general. The success of Phase 1 was that people went to see the blockbuster movies, and they came out maybe once/twice a year. Now there are too many IPs. So even if you enjoyed Loki or Wandavision, you may not have watched Ms. Marvel and would just be out-of-the-loop. They got greedy/overambitious. The films also suffered because you had studios leaning over the directors telling them to shoehorn in characters XYZ. A few of them have spoken about how there was too much to tie-in, instead of allowing the movie to be a solid standalone.
