i mentioned this is the round-up today but will do here again as well in case you missed it:

its rollout started today in korea and did $690k. its the worst opening day there for the mcu post-covid and is 4x lower than what captain marvel did 4 years ago.

estimates domestically are now $60-65 million. would be the second-lowest for the mcu after incredible hulk (which ofc is higher in todays $$). would be lowest if its get lower than $55 million, which i would not be shocked to see at this point.

This makes me sad, especially with how much I loved the first one. But whatever, I'm seeing it tomorrow and I hope I'll have fun.

I mean it's not like she hasn't had the time to do other stuff. She did Lessons in Chemistry which no one is really talking about, though it looks like it has good reviews. she seems fine just chilling and doing things when she wants and making cringey videos ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Apparently they are setting up Young Avengers with this film. Wonder if they'll follow through after the reception (critical and box office) of this one.
