Thanks mods ❤️❤️❤️

A few things I thought were more appropiate for the comments:

1. I have officially joined the Swifties' activism group. It's a bunch of graphic designers, video editors and generally just people wanting to turn this situation around

2. A lot of said Swifties are LGBTQ+. The Pride March is this Saturday and the community pronouncing itself against Milei is expected. I'm lowkey a bit scared, but going nevertheless.

3. It's hilarious to me to be posting the journalist who interviewed Eduardo Bolsonaro to ONTD because I have the biggest most embarrassing crush on him and I've just exposed him on here lmao

he should abandon this campaign, they're too powerful and will not only ruin his career (thankfully) but his entire life. he doesnt know who hes fucking with, only other people as powerful were directioners at their peak hacking into airport security footage, i mean respect

Sadly if he abandons I think his VP will step up and she's even worse. Also more dangerous because she carries herself well enough so that people who wouldn't vote for Milei because he's unhinged might vote for her instead. Although... misogyny? Ah, it's a toss-up, I'm afraid

This man is truly insane and dangerous. There's something off about him. I hope he doesn't win.

I read an article about how his most vocal supporters arw - SURPRISE - teenage and 20 something men who believe that women's rights have made them subhumans. Fucking idiots... Seems to be a recurring theme, though, doesn't it?

YUP! That is why we are calling it an incel-led party. And it does seem to be a recurring theme all over the world on the last few years.

I remember all the anti-feminism protests in South Korea, too, which is driving women further away from men rather than forcing those girls to be asshole antifeminist guys' girlfriends so idk what they want.

When I read the description OP gave of Milei, this bit in particular struck me as familiar:

he has cloned his dead dog and uses a medium to speak to him

Yoon himself is said to rely on a shaman to guide him politically (like his predecessor Park Geunhye), so I guess these rightwingers really have a penchant for woo-woo nonsense.

I’m praying that Milei doesn’t win the second round, but also fuck the fact the the Kirchners and their fellow corrupt South American ilk have harmed our countries to these levels of polarization, where young people just want to vote someone else in because at least they’re not “the same.”

Ironically, the one Argentinian Swiftie I know was okay with Milei, which really surprised me because she’s always identified as progressive… I was speechless.

In some cases, the far left and the far right have stuff in common and people take advantage of that. I know multiple guys (always men...) who went from supporting Bernie Sanders to Trump. And in Germany a progressive political group fractured and a new political party formed by left-wing politicians seems very right-wing (anti-immigration, anti-west, pro-Russia).

I swear some people refuse to understand the political spectrum is a horseshoe, not a line.

I think saying the horseshoe theory thing toes in line with being an enlightened centrist and it's stupid and a lazy conclusion. I doubt those Bernie men were progressives to begin with. They just wanted to be anti-Hillary etc. It's like how most boomers that were hippies in the 60s and 70s just did it to be against their parents but now vote for Trump lol
