At least they mentioned AND GAZA, which our EU politicians can’t even put in the same sentence as Israel. The worst is when they use „US“ like no, you aren’t speaking for me and others. Fuck them all.

EU is so fucking far up US’s ass it’s fucking embarrassing

Like this will likely lead to another refugee crisis, Europeans will act all racist about it, elect right wing politicians that deny climate change and then they’ll be like did I do that? Since they hate people from the Middle East so much peace is in their best interest but no gotta agree with the US cause the US has done so much for Europe

This says everything:

Berlin

Pro-Palestinian demonstrators also wanted to take to the streets again on Thursday evening. The police have banned a demonstration on Sonnenallee around Richardplatz, as a spokeswoman says. A vigil for the victims in the Gaza Strip from 7.30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Brandenburg Gate was also banned. A pro-Jewish demonstration from 5.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. at Kreuzberg's Oranienplatz was allowed.

NO WONDER PEOPLE ARE MAD, YOU DONT EVEN LET THEM MOAN (?) FOR THEIR PEOPLE AND DONT EVE. ACKNOWLEDGE THAT GERMAN HAS PALESTINIAN CITIZENS. It’s always just „we are all Israeli today“ barf

Yes I am mad

I think a few past demonstrations have gone out of control with people attacking police and/or ambulances with fireworks, plus the attacks on synagogues (not related to the demonstrations though). I think they're only canceling demonstrations in places that are known to end up in chaos. There are still plenty of pro-palestinian demonstrations in other cities, I know there was one in Dresden yesterday (that was also accompanied by police but I think that's mandatory for all kinds of demonstrations but I'm not completely sure).

Canceling/banning demonstrations in Germany is pretty difficult and they really need valid concerns for it, otherwise courts will just reject the bans and argue that every citizen has the right to demonstrate by law.

It's been incredible to see the rise of support for Palestinian liberation :')

Thousands of protesters in Paris turned up to rally in support of Palestinians for the second week at the Place de la Republique on Thursday despite the protest being banned by French officials pic.twitter.com/OJ7zpB54Br

French police have displaced a massive pro- #Palestine protest at The Place de la République. However, the protest turned into a rally. #France pic.twitter.com/t8KjsQJ41G

I couldn’t make it to a protest last weekend, so I just donated to the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund if anyone else is interested! https://instagram.com/thepcrf

I donated too, and I’m going to keep donating. It’s one of the few things I can do to influence this conflict positively

I just don't see how as a human being with empathy you can't see the glaring difference between the lives of the people of Gaza and the lives of Israelis

like taking away all the political shit it's pretty fucking clear that Palestinians are TRAPPED

This is what gets me.

Someone on TikTok (I think he’s a lawyer?) went through an article sentence by sentence on how water works in Gaza, East Jerusalem, and West Bank. It highlights the many ways how horrific the setup is. But, what really stood out to me is how Palestinians are allowed ~70L per person of water a day vs 300L per person for Israelis. Certain communities in Gaza don’t even have access to 20L. The daily recommendation is 100L. And most of the water is contaminated and overpriced.

Now he’s been labeled as a Hamas supporter. Because fuck people, I guess. Just because they have a terrorist organization amongst them, it’s time to end them all.

god it's just all so enraging and horrific, and absolutely MIND-BOGGLING how anyone could see the treatment of these people as fair, just or ethical.

they really aren't seen as full human beings by so many. it's so deeply disturbing.

also, I'm just gonna say it...you trap and torture any population for too long, they will fight back. it's pretty inevitable. what the fuck did Israel expect?? and no, I'm not advocating for war crimes or murder or anything Hamas has done, but it also should not be such a fucking shock to them either. they've been stoking the flames for a long time.
