Ron Cephas Jones, known for his role as William Hill on NBC’s “This Is Us,” has died. He was 66.

“Beloved and award-winning actor Ron Cephas Jones has passed away at the age of 66 due to a long-standing pulmonary issue.

Oh, that’s too bad. He was a fantastic actor. I didn’t know of him before This is Us and only watched that first season (and saw him more recently in his OC arc) but he was a scene stealer.

Is it because i'm older that I think anything under 80 is sort of young or is it that my mom is 76 and still active?

No, 66 is definitely too young. It is also normal to compare others to the age of our parents. I do it too.

I think because we’re older and we see our parents in them. Like our parents are 60-70s and we feel like they have a lot of time left with us. Also a lot of people that age are still so healthy and active so it’s crazy. Like if I person was 85 or 90 we wo don’t think they were too young IT’s more expected

I said it on here before; one of my mother's friends is 15 years her senior and literally drove about 2 hours to see her. This woman is 75. that's stamina I don't have at 30.

He is such a recognisable actor. I'm going to miss his performances.
