Ron Cephas Jones, known for his role as William Hill on NBC’s “This Is Us,” has died. He was 66.

“Beloved and award-winning actor Ron Cephas Jones has passed away at the age of 66 due to a long-standing pulmonary issue.

Oh no, I thought he was fantastic in This is Us. That is so young. I loved that he and Jasmine won their Emmy’s the same year together, I think, if I’m remembering that correctly.

it’s been a rough little time for jasmine (his daughter) with anthony ramos cheating on her rather publicly and now her dad dying, i hope she’s surrounded by kind people rn

That's so sad. His light really shone through his characters I've seen. I hope he had the best life and rests in peace.

He was SO recognisable to me, yet he was so talented I'd see him as every character he played. His daughter is also extremely talented (she was in the OG cast of Hamilton and is married happily to her costar and I'm really glad he was alive to see her do that).

I haven't seen those but his family's storyline in This is US was so much better than the rest of the show that it was probably supposed to be all about them but some TV exec was like "needs more honkies"
