In light of the previous discussion, I’ll just say that it’s possible to accept that Jamie meant no harm and Jennifer has zero Black friends and misread his message… AND to validate that someone could have read it as an antisemitic dog whistle for a reason.

Both involve people not understanding key contexts from another culture.

i'd take it one step farther and say, with the newfound realization that this is and always has been an antisemitic dog whistle, people should now take that knowledge and stop saying it. But people are adamant that they should and will not.
