Yeah, I feel like there has to be more going on for someone to think this is an ok thing to do. I know we joke it's for attention, but someone who thinks this is the kind of attention they want obviously isn't thinking clearly.

On the subject of missing people, Alicia Navarro was found.

She went missing 4 years ago when she was 14. She left her home in AZ and left behind a note saying she was sorry and she was leaving but she would come back, but she never did. Then this week, she showed up to a police station in Montana, asking how to get off the 'missing juveniles' list.

There is a LOT that we don't know yet and I suspect it'll be a while until more of the story comes out. But yeah... given that she'd previously been known to be communicating with an older man online (I think he was like 41 or something? ick), my best guess is that she was groomed by another older man online and she left to be with him. And presumably has been with him for the past 4 years? Apparently people have now been questioned in connection with her disappearance but no arrests made yet. So... idk idk.

Yeahhhh I heard about that last night!! It was also mentioned she's autistic on the spectrum! I thought it was weird when the reports said she was reportedly "fine" and "happy" :| It was also mentioned that she regretted the hurt her running away caused her mom.

Yeah I think that like they meant that she wasn’t showing signs of injuries or distress when she went to the police station but like… I do not think she is 100% fine and happy. I’m glad her mother at least knows she where is is now and I hope that relationship can be repaired. Last I read they had not yet reunited in person.
