honestly, sending her to jail is dumb and pointless. she shouldn't get jail time. there is no benefit to it.

But she did waste people's time and money and should pay that back via fines and community service.

She was gone for a month but kept up the lie for YEARS. I think the reason the lawyer told Carlee to fess up so quickly was that the lawyer knew it would mean leniency.
